About this opportunity
Schroders' 2027 Summer Internship Programme offers undergraduates a 10-week in-person placement in their Finance department, starting 14 June 2027 and finishing 20 August 2027. Interns receive comprehensive training, hands-on experience, mentorship, and networking opportunities. The programme supports skill and career development in finance, giving exposure to financial planning and analysis, operations, regulatory reporting, and business partnering within a global investment manager. Successful interns may be offered a place on the 2028 Accounting & Finance Graduate Programme.

Undergraduates who will have completed their second year of studies when the internship begins and are on track to graduate in 2028. The programme is best suited for those interested in a career in Finance and not open to those intending further full-time study before employment.

Requirements
Applicants must be on track to graduate in 2028, having completed their second year of undergraduate studies by June 2027. Maths A-level or equivalent (or a STEM degree if not held) is preferable but not essential. Not open to students in their final year intending to undertake further study before employment. Skills required include analytical thinking, business awareness, curiosity, communication, teamwork, and comfort with Microsoft Office software.
How to apply
The process includes an online application form, a cognitive assessment, a behavioural and motivational assessment, a work simulation and video interview, and an assessment centre. Applicants must be available from 14 June to 20 August 2027.
