About this opportunity
Goodwin’s Trainee Solicitor Programme commences in September 2029 and is designed to develop participants from talented graduates into confident commercial lawyers. Over two years, trainees may rotate through Litigation, Finance, Funds, Tax, Private Equity, Real Estate and Technology and Life Sciences. Goodwin’s small-team structure provides opportunities for early responsibility, meaningful client work and close contact with experienced lawyers.

Students beyond the first year of undergraduate study and graduates from any university and degree discipline. Goodwin welcomes candidates from varied educational and professional backgrounds.

Requirements
Applicants should normally have or expect to achieve at least a 2:1 degree and strong academic results. Goodwin looks for entrepreneurial, aspirational and driven candidates with commercial awareness, strong interpersonal skills and genuine interest in the firm. Academic achievement is considered contextually.
