About this opportunity

Accutrainee’s Trainee Solicitor (QWE) route helps aspiring solicitors complete Qualifying Work Experience through secondments with leading law firms, boutique practices, financial institutions, technology companies, scale-ups and in-house legal teams. Trainees can gain varied experience across different organisations while receiving support from Accutrainee’s Graduate Team, Training Principal and mentors. The programme is designed as a flexible alternative to a traditional single-employer training contract, with recruitment taking place throughout the year as client opportunities arise.

Who is it for?

Aspiring solicitors who are ready to complete their Qualifying Work Experience and are either approaching the end of a qualifying law degree or GDL, or have passed SQE1. Candidates from both law and non-law backgrounds are welcome.

What you will gain

You can gain up to four different secondments, practical legal experience, exposure to law firms and in-house legal teams, mentoring from senior lawyers, support from Accutrainee’s Graduate Team and Training Principal, access to learning and development, networking opportunities and experience that helps build the competencies needed to qualify as a solicitor.

Accutrainee encourages applications towards the end of an LLB or GDL. Previous paralegal or legal experience may strengthen an application but is not required.

How to apply

Apply through the Accutrainee careers page. Accutrainee recruits throughout the year. Successful applicants join its talent pool and are considered for QWE secondment opportunities as client requirements arise.
