About this opportunity

Bristows offers a two-year training contract commencing in August 2029. Trainees complete a mixture of three- and six-month seats across the firm’s principal departments, including a guaranteed six-month seat in Patent Litigation. Other potential seats include Commercial IP and IT, Corporate, Real Estate, Commercial Disputes, Competition and Regulatory. Bristows recruits up to ten trainees per intake.

Penultimate-year law students, final-year students and graduates from any degree discipline who are interested in commercial law and Bristows’ specialist work in intellectual property, technology, life sciences and brands.

Requirements

Candidates should normally be working towards or have obtained a 2:1 degree and demonstrate a consistent academic record. A science degree is not required. Bristows considers applications holistically and encourages applicants to disclose mitigating circumstances.
