About this opportunity
G-Research’s Data Science Internship is a 10-week summer programme running from 21 June to 27 August 2027 in Central London. Interns work on data challenges that support quantitative research, including exploring, enriching and creating datasets, applying statistical analysis and machine learning methods, validating and visualising diverse data sources, and building tools for data science initiatives across the firm.
Who is it for?
Current undergraduate, Master’s or PhD students in a quantitative subject who are interested in data science, financial markets and systematic investing.

Requirements
Applicants should have strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, be comfortable applying statistical concepts to real-world data, have Python experience for exploratory data analysis and visualisation, strong communication skills and an interest in financial markets. GitHub or Kaggle profiles, machine learning model experience, NLP interest and statistical data analysis proficiency are beneficial.
