About this opportunity
Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust’s Autumn 2026 work experience programme offers short placements across clinical and non-clinical NHS roles. Available areas may include administration, allied health professions, biomedical science, clinical engineering, clinical psychology, data, digital and technology, finance, medicine, midwifery, nursing, pharmacy, property services and estates. Placements usually last two days and may take place at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, High Wycombe Hospital or community facilities across Buckinghamshire.
Who is it for?
Year 12 and Year 13 students, college-equivalent students aged 16+, adults considering healthcare careers and undergraduates currently at university. Priority is given to applicants at school, college or living within Buckinghamshire local authority and the Trust’s wider catchment area.
What you will gain
Insight into NHS careers, exposure to clinical or non-clinical healthcare teams, understanding of hospital and community healthcare environments, career exploration across multiple NHS roles and evidence for future healthcare, medicine, nursing, pharmacy, allied health or digital healthcare applications.
