About this opportunity
Radcliffe Chambers offers an unassessed, one-day mini-pupillage in which participants shadow a member of Chambers and gain practical insight into commercial and Chancery practice. Successful applicants in this round will complete their placement between 1 December 2026 and 28 February 2027.
Who is it for?
Penultimate- and final-year law students, GDL students and candidates who have completed their legal studies and are considering becoming commercial or Chancery barristers.
What you will gain
First-hand exposure to a barrister’s work, insight into commercial and Chancery practice and a clearer understanding of professional life at the Bar.

Requirements
Applicants must be in the penultimate or final year of a law degree, undertaking the GDL or at a later stage. Applications are assessed on academic ability, responsibility, communication, interest in the commercial or Chancery Bar and commitment to developing advocacy through public speaking.
