The Data and Analysis Student Placement at Counter Terrorism Policing HQ for the 2027/28 academic year offers undergraduates the opportunity to join the CTP network's analytical and research team. Placement holders will assist with developing intelligence research products, conducting open-source research, liaising with partners, organising CPD events, and supporting the network’s learning and development. There are opportunities to shape tasks based on your interests and study.

Applicants must be undergraduate students in a sandwich year course, returning to study in Autumn 2028. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to manage workload and multiple demands, and ability to summarise complex information required. Interest or study in criminology, terrorism studies, policing, security studies, international relations, sociology, or psychology desirable.
