About this opportunity

Bank of America's Global Capital Markets 2027 Summer Analyst programme provides students with broad experience across its Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets, Leveraged Finance and Sustainable Solutions Group businesses. Applicants can indicate a preferred area before successful candidates are placed within one of the four teams. Summer analysts work alongside product specialists and clients to develop financing solutions, prepare tailored presentations, contribute to live transactions and collaborate with Investment Banking, Corporate Banking and Global Markets teams. The programme includes formal training, on-the-job support, educational speaker events and mentorship. Strong performers may be offered full-time employment beginning in July 2028.

Who is it for?

Students pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree who will complete their degree between June 2027 and July 2028. Applicants from a broad range of degree disciplines are eligible, including arts and humanities, economics, mathematics, science and engineering.

Requirements

Applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university and complete their degree between June 2027 and July 2028. Candidates should be on track for at least a 2:1 degree classification or equivalent. Fluency in English is essential and a European language is desirable. Applicants should demonstrate genuine interest in financial markets, analytical and problem-solving skills, teamwork, leadership, creativity, drive and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Previous finance coursework or internship experience is preferred for Leveraged Finance applicants.
