About this opportunity

Skadden’s London Vacation Scheme provides experience of working on global transactions for a diverse client base. Participants sit in two departments, complete meaningful work and gain insight into the firm’s culture. The 2027 Spring cohorts run from 30 March to 9 April and from 12 April to 23 April. Vacation scheme participants are paid £500 per week. Completing the scheme is the only route to Skadden’s training contract commencing in 2029.

Who is it for?

Students from any university and degree discipline. Undergraduate applicants must have reached at least the penultimate year of a law degree or the final year of a non-law degree. Graduates may also apply.

What you will gain

Experience in two departments, exposure to international transactions, networking opportunities, insight into Skadden’s London culture and consideration for a 2029 training contract. Participants receive £500 per week.

Requirements

Applicants should demonstrate a consistent record of strong academic achievement and must be on track for, or have achieved, at least a 2:1 degree or equivalent.
