About this opportunity
Pinsent Masons’ 2027 Vacation Placement offers students and graduates the opportunity to experience life at an international law firm. The two-week placement runs from 28 June to 9 July 2027 and is available in London, Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds. Participants will gain practical insight into commercial legal work, the firm’s culture and the responsibilities of a trainee solicitor. Successful candidates may be considered for a September 2029 training contract.
Who is it for?
Penultimate-year law students, final-year law students, final-year non-law students, graduates and other applicants at a later stage of study who are interested in pursuing a career as a commercial solicitor.
What you will gain
You will gain practical experience of working at an international commercial law firm, insight into different areas of legal practice and a clearer understanding of the trainee solicitor role. You will also have opportunities to develop your commercial awareness, legal skills and professional network. Strong performance may lead to consideration for a September 2029 training contract.

Requirements
Applicants should be penultimate-year law students or beyond, final-year non-law students or beyond, or graduates. A predicted or achieved 2:1 degree is expected, although applicants may disclose mitigating circumstances for consideration.
