About this opportunity
Accelerate is a free, pioneering built environment education programme run by Open City for young people aged 16-18 from underrepresented backgrounds. The programme consists of Saturday skills development workshops, mentoring sessions with built environment professionals (such as architects and engineers), creative workshops, site and university visits, and a summer exhibition. During the February half-term, students undertake three days of work experience. The aim is to equip participants with skills, portfolios, networks, and confidence to pursue further education and careers in architecture and related fields.
