About this opportunity
Leathes Prior’s Summer Vacation Scheme provides one week of practical experience before applying for a training contract. Participants complete real legal work alongside partners and staff, meet lawyers and trainee solicitors, experience different legal practice areas and take part in group exercises. Up to five participants are accepted for each scheme.
Who is it for?
Primarily second- or third-year law students, final-year non-law students and postgraduate students. Students who have just completed their first year of a law degree may also be considered.
What you will gain
Practical legal experience, exposure to different practice areas, contact with lawyers and trainees, and insight into the firm’s training-contract pathway and culture.
