FOCUS London 2027

Jane Street’s FOCUS London programme gives first-year university students the chance to learn about the firm’s trading, software engineering, strategy and product teams. The programme is designed for students who have experienced barriers to accessing advanced STEM educational opportunities and does not require prior finance knowledge. The London event runs from 13–16 January 2027, with travel, accommodation and a daily stipend provided.

First-year university students who have experienced barriers to accessing advanced STEM opportunities, including students who may be first-generation university students, from underrepresented ethnic or racial minority groups, from lower-income backgrounds, from under-resourced schools, rural areas, marginalised communities or those who have experienced personal hardship.

Insight into quantitative trading, software engineering, strategy and product at Jane Street, exposure to finance and technology careers, networking with Jane Street employees, practical understanding of the firm’s work and support through travel, accommodation and a daily stipend.
