About this opportunity
Gibson Dunn’s four-day PRIME Work Experience Programme provides Year 12 and 13 students with an insight into how an international law firm operates. Participants complete learning and development sessions, work shadowing and interactive workshops while attending talks and presentations from lawyers and staff across the firm. The programme takes place at Gibson Dunn’s London office from 27 to 30 October 2026.
Who is it for?
Year 12 and 13 students attending state-funded schools or colleges who meet the PRIME social-mobility eligibility criteria and are interested in learning about commercial law.
What you will gain
Work-shadowing experience, insight into an international law firm, interactive legal and professional-skills workshops, CV guidance, interview advice, networking opportunities and contact with lawyers and other staff across the firm.

Requirements
Applicants must be in Year 12 or 13 and meet the PRIME eligibility criteria. They should attend or have attended a state-funded, non-fee-paying school or college and meet at least one additional criterion, such as care experience, eligibility for free school meals or Pupil Premium, caring responsibilities, refugee or asylum-seeker status, a routine or manual household occupation, attendance at a school with lower attainment or university progression, or being the first generation in their household to attend university.
