About this opportunity

The Company Intern at Punchdrunk Enrichment will build practical experience across arts administration, company coordination and project support. Responsibilities include acting as point of contact for guests and suppliers, organising meetings and events, HR and recruitment support, data and building management, and assisting in project administration. The role offers comprehensive training and experience in running a venue and arts charity. Participants will develop skills in arts administration, communication, project coordination, meeting planning, time management, and production support. Access to masterclasses and further training is included.

Who is it for?

Open to individuals who are from or live in the London borough of Brent and are also from groups under-represented in the creative industries. This includes, but is not limited to, individuals who identify as Black, Asian or ethnically diverse backgrounds, as well as disabled people, those with the characteristic of gender reassignment, individuals from lower socioeconomic backgrounds, carers, and asylum seekers.

What you will gain

Develop practical skills in arts administration, company communication, project coordination, event support, time and diary management, along with access to Punchdrunk Enrichment’s masterclass programme and further formal or informal training. Participants will also take part in a Creative Access support programme covering induction, masterclasses, wellbeing support, buddying, and mentoring.

A keen interest in the arts, good written and verbal communication skills, organisational and admin ability, numeracy, knowledge of IT systems (Google Drive), self-motivation, flexibility, commitment to diversity and anti-racism. Open to those from or living in Brent and under-represented backgrounds as described.
