About this opportunity

The McLaren Racing Engineering Internship is a 13-month placement beginning July 2027, based in Woking. Interns will join one of the following areas: Aerodynamics (CFD, Wind Tunnel Tech, etc.), Design (Bodywork, Pit Equipment, etc.), Performance (Analysis, Simulation, Vehicle Dynamics), or Racing (Strategy, Pitstops, Operations). Interns will work on meaningful engineering projects impacting on-track performance, supported by experienced colleagues. Assessment days take place in October 2026.

Who is it for?

Undergraduates completing a placement year as part of a degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or a scientific discipline, ready to begin in July 2027. Must be working towards at least a 2:1 degree classification (or equivalent).
