About this opportunity
Glasgow Film Festival’s Animatic 2026/27 is a talent-development lab for Scotland-based creative teams, studios and collectives developing animated feature film or TV series projects. The programme includes workshops, consultations and mentoring to refine story, finance plans and pitches, before culminating in a Live Pitch at GFF 2027. Introductory workshops, the pitching weekend and Live Pitch are held in person, while other sessions take place online.
Who is it for?
Scotland-based creative teams, animation studios or collectives aged 18 or over who are not in full-time or part-time education and are developing an original animated feature film or TV series project.

Requirements
Applicants must be based in Scotland, aged 18 or over, not enrolled in education, and apply as a creative team with at least one writer and producer, or as a Scotland-registered animation studio/collective. Projects must be original or have secured IP rights. At least one core creative team member must have relevant credited experience across short film, commercial, advertisement or music video work.
