Bright Futures Programme

The Bright Futures Programme supports under-represented individuals in the legal sector, providing a three-day paid opportunity to gain insight into life at an international law firm. Participants will experience development and upskilling sessions, trainee shadowing, and assessment for potential progression to the firm's 2028 vacation scheme. The programme involves pre-programme support, a structured schedule, shadowing opportunities, and ends with an assessment centre. Ongoing mentoring is available for those who join the vacation scheme. The recruitment process includes an online application, assessment, video interview, and a strengths-based interview.

First-year law students and penultimate-year non-law students who attended a state/non-fee-paying school and meet at least one social mobility criterion (such as free school meals eligibility, time in care, carer status, refugee/asylum background, or homelessness). Law students on a four-year course should apply in their second year.

Insight into an international law firm, networking with lawyers and trainees, paid work experience, travel/accommodation support, and a potential fast-track to a summer vacation scheme with ongoing mentoring.
