Aspiring Black Lawyers Insight Day

Norton Rose Fulbright’s Inspire and Impact programme is an insight day dedicated to aspiring lawyers of Black and Black heritage. Taking place in London on Tuesday 3 November 2026, the event will feature workshops, discussions with lawyers at different levels, an application bootcamp, a junior-lawyer panel and practical deal case studies covering the firm’s corporate, banking and litigation practices. Participants will also receive lunch, tour the office and network with lawyers and business professionals across the firm.

The programme is primarily designed for penultimate-year students, final-year students and recent graduates from any degree discipline who identify as Black or Black heritage and are interested in pursuing a career in commercial law. This includes those who identify as Black African, Black Caribbean, Black British, White and Black Caribbean, White and Black African, or another relevant mixed or multiple ethnic background.

You will gain insight into commercial law through a roundtable and question-and-answer session with the firm’s Black and Black heritage partners, an interactive junior-lawyer panel and deal-based case studies. You will also develop your vacation-scheme and training-contract application skills, learn about the firm’s key practice areas, tour its London office and build your professional network. Attendees may be fast-tracked to the screening stage when applying for one of Norton Rose Fulbright’s 2027 vacation schemes.
