Opportunity Tracker

A tracker for keeping on top of saved opportunities, deadlines, application stages, and follow-up actions.

4 min readOpen to AnyoneBeginner

When you are applying to multiple opportunities at once, it is easy to lose track of deadlines, miss follow-ups, or confuse details between employers. This tracker helps you stay organised across all your applications.

How to use the tracker

Add every opportunity you are seriously considering. Include the deadline, the application link, the stage you are at, and what action is needed next. Update it every time you progress a stage or receive a response. Review it weekly to make sure no deadlines are approaching without action.

Tracking application stages

Use a consistent set of stages: Not started, Application submitted, Online tests, Video interview, Assessment centre, Offer received, Rejected, Withdrawn. This helps you see at a glance which opportunities need attention and which are waiting for responses.

Managing deadlines

Set calendar reminders two weeks before each deadline so you have time to prepare your application properly. For online tests, book time in your diary rather than leaving them until the last minute.
